The coastal town of Husk has faded into obscurity, clinging to the myth of a forest monster to lure the occasional tourist. But 12 year old Izzy still believes there’s something magical out there. Restless, curious, and reluctant to grow up, he stumbles on something far stranger than a monster, a buried device called the Animatron, capable of bringing objects to life.

With the help of his skeptical friends, Izzy begins experimenting in secret, animating everything from a rebellious houseplant to his childhood plush toy. As their creations spread through town, so does an unexpected energy Husk begins to stir with life again.

But the Animatron has a history. It once belonged to Haven Industries, an entertainment company that vanished after a mysterious disaster. Now, its shadowy founder, Nolan Null, has returned to claim what he lost. As tension builds, Izzy and his friends must protect more than just the device they must defend the wonder and possibility it’s awakened in their forgotten town.
